About me
Hi, I’m Ava.
I’m a writer and editor working in the arts. My interest in UX & content strategy comes from my experience scouring online archives for obscure movies online as a teenager, which changed my life and landed me my first job at Anthology Film Archives where I led digital strategy and was a contributing programmer. Now I lead audience engagement and content strategy at PBS’ American Masters.
I’m passionate about access to the arts and I’m excited to help connect audiences to culture through compelling copy and content, whether it’s weird movies online or the latest PBS documetary.
I continue to scour online archives for overlooked art history — subscribe to my free newsletter to follow along.
